In November, Dr. Israel Barsh is running for the City Councilman D2 seat in LaGrange, also sought by 7 other candidates. Dr. Barsh has previously run for public office in LaGrange, having stayed actively involved in attending council meetings. Dr. Barsh is the CEO and Founder of Lionsgate Coalition and the U.S. Global Office of Nonprofits LLC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps establish nonprofits, and a member of the LaGrange-Troup Chamber of Commerce, his passion as City Councilmen D2 , he is a native son, grew up working at the William Griggs Center, his Godparents were Mr. William Ruby Griggs, who were his 2nd parents. He worked under Commissioner English, elementary school at Dawson street, attended the Boys Jr High school graduated as a Senior Favorite at the Lagrange High School. He has deep roots in lagrange even attended East Depot Kindergarten, His desire is to REVIVE the D2 , Bring affordable homes, funplaces for you as Bowling alleys skating rings. Seek to lower the Utilities, provide better series for the Elderly. Create mentorship programs for the youth and youth employments. Former USA 1Lt. Army AG Corp over 12 years, graduated from Washington State University in 1989 BA in Social Work/ Military Science, founder Principal of K-12 Academy of Excellence in Tacoma wa, received Letter of Commendation in 1992 for Ourstanding Community service.
